For many years now, the students of the school have been participating in the cleaning campaign “Kranj is no longer shitty”, which also took place this year at the end of March. This is how we join the Kranj scouts on their mission.

During the week of the cleaning campaign, we also collect waste paper, and with its help we contribute at least a little to the budget of the School Community Fund. The campaign is held twice a year, in autumn and spring. We were quite successful in the spring term, but the good weather certainly contributed to the good amount of paper collected.

Before carrying out the cleaning campaign, we talked in the classes about proper waste management, about waste separation and recycling, and with the help of a quiz, we repeated what belongs in which container. Some, more creative, even made different products from waste materials.

After snack, we went to pick up trash. Each class had a specific area where they picked up trash. With our joint efforts, we made sure that nature, which will soon change its colour to green, will breathe more easily.
