Let’s explore Kranj

We held the cultural day for sixth graders a little differently this time. So, the students set out to explore the old town centre of Kranj. Armed with maps, good ideas and tasks, the students, divided into groups, set about their tasks. They walked from point to point and solved tasks related to the cultural heritage of Kranj with the help of various tables, inscriptions and the Internet.

Pungert, Plečnik’s staircase, Khislstein castle, viewing platform, Prešeren’s theatre – all this and more were explored by young researchers.

Kranj is Prešeren’s town, so the students even tried their hand at writing poems.

The students were also engaged in photography on the way and had to take as original photos as possible and even videos to present the city of Kranj. They put themselves in the role of a tourist guide and presented the sights of Kranj to tourists in their own unique way.
